Simple Purse
Create a purse for every month of the year.
The simple purse measures 14 1/4” wide by 7 1/4” tall by 2” deep. The 1” wide by 18 3/4” long double straps are designed to be carried or worn over-the-shoulder. Fusible fleece is placed between the outside of the purse and the lining, which makes it a sturdy cushioned bag.
The sample purse has heavy decorator fabric on the outside and it is lined with corduroy. You can use almost any medium to heavyweight fabric.
Materials Needed:
-Medium to heavy weight fabric for outside of purse, handles & pockets – 5/8 yard
-Medium to heavy weight coordinating fabric for lining – 3/8 yard
-Fusible fleece – 1/2 yard
-Coordinating sewing thread
-OPTIONAL: Large Button & Snap
